What surprises prospective partners once they’ve gotten to know you?
Prospective partners have said that they didn’t expect someone like me to understand how a college or university operates and how technology can be a differentiator, or that I’d be so focused on the students’ experience.
What do you wish prospective partners knew about you?
I wish prospective partners knew that I am absolutely passionate about learning and the learning experience throughout our lifetime.
Favorite course in college:
“Material and Energy Balances,” which involved designing complex engineering systems to resolve high-level problems – exercises that have now become routine in my professional career.
Favorite technology used outside of work:
Polaris Ride Command, an all-terrain-vehicle (ATV) trail map. I download maps to use offline because there are no cellular signals anywhere close to the trails. So, tech for when there is no tech available.
